Blue Balalaika Recipe

Ingredients



  • 2/3 oz vodka
    2/3 oz Cointreau orange liqueur
    2/3 oz Blue Curacao liqueur
    2/3 oz fresh lemon juice




Pour all ingredients into a cocktail shaker half-filled with ice cubes. Shake and strain into a cocktail glass, garnish with a lemon twist, and serve.

Ingredients



  • 2/5 cl Absolut vodka
    1/5 cl strawberry vodka
    1/5 cl dry vermouth
    1/10 cl pineapple juice
    1/10 cl Blue Curacao liqueur

Lemouroudji Recipe

Ingredients



  • 2 pieces ginger
    1 gal water
    1 lb lemons
    1 cup sugar
    ground cayenne pepper




Juice the lemons. Peel and grate the ginger. Place the grated ginger and a liberal dash of the cayenne pepper into a piece of cheesecloth, and tie it into a knot. Let soak in the water. After 15 minutes or so, add the sugar, and the lemon juice. Chill, and serve.


Tequila Surprise Recipe

Ingredients



  • 1 1/2 oz Jose Cuervo Reserva de la Familia tequila
    1 oz Malibu coconut rum
    3 oz Tropicana high-pulp orange juice
    3 oz Del Monte pineapple juice
    1 oz Chambord raspberry liqueur




Pour Cuervo tequila over crushed ice in a margarita glass. Add Malibu rum, Tropicana orange juice and Del Monte pineapple juice. Stir briefly, then drizzle the Chambord raspberry liqueur around the edge and into the center of the drink. Garnish by placing a wedge of lime and a wedge of pineapple on the edge of the glass, with a raspberry dangling inbetween into the drink.

  • 1 1/2 oz rye whiskey
    2 dashes maraschino liqueur
    1 dash orange bitters
    1 dash Angostura bitters
    1 tsp lemon juice
    1 tsp powdered sugar




Coat the rim of a cocktail glass with lemon juice and powdered sugar. Pour the rye whiskey, maraschino liqueur, orange bitters and Angostura bitters into a cocktail shaker half-filled with ice cubes. Shake well. Strain into the sugar-rimmed cocktail glass, and serve.

  • 1/3 part pear soda
    1/3 part Fanta orange soda
    1/3 part orange juice
    1 slice cucumber




First pour in the pear soda. Then take the fanta and the juice. Please use a cognac bowl when mixing and drinking the drink. Then attach the cucumber slice to the rim, as you would do with a lemon slice. Blend and serve instantly.

  • 1 orange
    2 cups orange juice
    6 oz white rum
    2 oz Curacao orange liqueur
    4 oz light cream

Use a thick-skinned california orange, peeling the rind very close to the edge. Avoid the white pulp, and chop the rind finely.


Combine the other ingredients in a blender with the rind, and blend until smooth and thick. Pour into 4oz glasses and garnish with orange slices and fresh strawberries.

Half-fill a highball glass with ice. Pour the grenadine around the inside of the glass and on top of the ice to give that bloody look to it. Next, add the vodka (more if you prefer), then the sour apple pucker. Add the ginger ale, and then fill with 7-up. Garnish as desired, and serve.

Lemon Sherbert Punch Recipe

Ingredients



  • 2 liters ginger ale
    1 can frozen pink lemonade concentrate
    1 gal sherbet
    frozen fruit
    cold water




Mix lemonade concentrate in a very large punch bowl. Add soda and frozen fruit. Open sherbet and dump the entire package of it into the punch (it will float on the top). Due to the frozen fruit and sherbet, there is really no need for ice until later, or unless it it very hot.

  • 1/2 glass Spicy Hot V8 Juice
    1 tsp olive juice
    1/2 glass clamato juice
    1 pinch celery salt
    1 pinch horseradish
    1 pinch peppers

  • 8 oz water
    1 1/2 oz lemon juice
    3 oz vodka




Make fresh homemade lemonade by mixing the juice of one lemon and 8 oz. (one glass) of water. Be sure not to add sugar. Add the vodka and stir. Add 5 ice cubes, and serve.

Muff Diver Recipe

  • 1 part Kahlua coffee liqueur
    1 part amaretto almond liqueur
    1 part Irish cream
